In full swing!

As I write this, on 8th September 2026, we are in full swing for Chase's enrry into the 2027 MX5 Clubman series. New race engine being built, car being fettled, rolling roads booked and the final season test at Silverstone in October. Watch this space.

Cadwell Park test

Chase went out at Cadwell Park recently. To say he loved it was an understatement! Who doesn’t like Cadwell… Car performed amazing and a great day.

Donington Park GP

A start to a new season and Donington GP was the first stop to get the car out on track. Weather was perfect. Malcolm, my Race coach was there to go through my data and give me great advice to get the best out of the car. See the video for one of my laps.

About the Series

Introduced in 2021, the very popular Mazda MX-5 Clubman Championship provides Mk1 Mazda MX-5 racers with the opportunity to race on huge grids, in a one-day format.

With a 15-minute qualifying session, typically followed by 2 x 15-minute races held over a single day on the majority of race weekends (some meeting will very occasionally see three races).

The Mk1 MX-5 is one of the best small sports cars of all time, and one which provides a true challenge to master for drivers of all experience levels, backgrounds and ages. The relative simplicity of the cars means they can be prepared from home or maintained by one of several race teams, and they provide a cost-effective way for anyone to compete in a contemporary small open-topped sports car.
